Alan Chadborn wanted to say hello to everyone and share some of his handywork. We all know the wheelbarrow that Alan has been working on at the Shed. Alan was able to take it home just as we were being locked down. It's really coming along!

Alan is also working on a Paddle whee lat Gallywall pond for children (or anyone energetic I imagine) to aerate the pond. He has also been working on strengthening the Basketball nets at salmon Youth Centre.
Keep up the good work Alan!
Brilliant Alan, on both counts! The wheelbarrow looks really impressive; it certainly looks to have paid off the work you put into it. Great idea too for kids to be able to crank the aerator.
There is an update on Alan's activities. The Pond Aerator for Galleywall pond is nearing completion. Here is Alan talking about it.
"This is after the first assembly; this week I will improve and paint it before taking it to Galleywall. The paddle is to float on the pond - with 5 or 6 litres of bouyancy from milk bottles, while the cranking unit is to be on the bank for any visiting child to turn. Normally school groups visit, but for now there are neighbours daughters."
And here it is in action!
Greetings Alan and all fellow shedders, I hope you are all keeping well, I have to say what a marvellous creation Alan; you have certainly invested in the project and it has paid off! Come on you Shedders show us your creativity get those hand carvings or projects posted on here it does not matter what it is ,let’s get whittling!
