HI, I have just traced out my hand on one of the tiles to be decorated by Shedists to cover our social table. It needs some smartening up and this is the time to do it.

If you fancy doing a tile yourself, contact Devon at Time and Talents on 0207 232 5663 or email him on
Ah yes,
you figured it out before I could get to you! The hand looks really nice! I Like the wood burning technique.
I am trying to post a picture of my tile, in progress, but how do you add a photo? Perhaps I should start with the photo then add text, but do I send as an email? Ah! I think I have done it! I found a circle with a + inside and pressed it. I used my soldering irons in the plywood.
Great stuff Peter and Michael. How did you manage to post more than one picture? I'm trying to post some text with six pictures but when I press the button it only shows the last photo
Perhaps you need a union jack or the Queen;s head!
Looks brilliant. You don't mess about!
Is the other thing going to be an airship?
Looks really good Michael, if not challenging! Be interested to see how the back ground works out.
Here's my work-in-progress tile. Graphic inspired the Sex Pistols 'Never Mind The Bo**ocks' album cover. More to come.
Also, aircraft in development at Boeing (Streatham)
So, a progress report on my tile. I am using a phillips-head screwdriver and hammer to punch little x's into the tile. It works pretty well as long as there is enough space between the x's, otherwise the veneer breaks. I can only do a little every day as I fear driving the downstairs neighbors mad. We have to be considerate during lockdown!I hope to use a dfferent pattern on the background and I want to do something goldish for my wedding ring.
Would be great to see how other tilers are getting on. Devon has reported that lots of Shedists have tiles to work on.
Great! Hope you keeping well and the hand is shaping up All hands on deck,,,!
Well done Shed. Got my tile (thanks) and just come with, er, an idea! More to follow if i don't paint my hand . .
