Our first Five Months

Our first few meetings were spent figuring out what kind of things

we wanted to do. A good starting project was making up an A-frame

sign to sit outside during our sessions. We are now visible!

The group has grown over five months and we now have folks from

all over the place. Our membership is up to about ten. This is good

as we want enough people involved so that people can drop in as

and when they want, rather than feeling that they have to come to

make up the numbers.

We have had a wide variety of little projects to keep us busy.

Time and Talents has supplied us with some jobs, like fixing their

noticeboard (ongoing) and making some planting signs. Members

have brought in things to fix. Steve's tent and bike. Richard's shoe.

Alan sharpened his chisel this week. We had our first child's toy

this past week. One scooter back on the road again!
