A Limerick !

There were sev'n Irish blokes from Southill

Who came to share some of their skill

We showed them our Shed then we all broke some bread

ShedExchanging, it was quite a thrill!

The boys from the Southill Shed in Limerick came to pay us a visit this Thursday.

A great bunch of lads who were getting the flavour of some of the Sheds here in London. They were over at the Battersea Shed also.

We brought out the pedal lathe and made sure we had a suitable feast of sandwiches for our Irish guests.

We were fascinated to hear about their building of a beautiful clinker built wooden boat. It has even been fitted out to sail. Definite inspiration for the repair of the dinghy that we used in the lantern procession.

We have been invited to visit the Southill Shed now, so a grand tour of Ireland is definitely in order!!

The Rotherhithe Shed's trip of pleasure

Will need a good plan for our leisure

The plan features Guinness*

from the start through to finish

And perhaps some woodwork for good measure

*The Rotherhithe Shed has absolutely nothing to do with the Guinness Corporation. Please drink responsibly.
