Mudlarking !!!

The Shed is planning a mudlarking expedition this Autumn. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, it refers to exploring the river shore looking for treasure.

This was made popular in London where people used to make a living recycling what others threw away.

On our trip we hope to find a few clay pipe remnants, nails from ancient ships taken apart on the shores of the Rotherhithe peninsula, and if we are lucky . . . . GOLD!!!!
