Twas the Week Before Christmas...

Twas the week before Christmas and all through the Shed,

the group were devouring a huge Christmas spread.

The day had been filled with folks working on projects

a tremendous array of all kinds of strange objects.

A huge Christmas bauble, the largest we’ve seen,

an elegant dollhouse soon fit for a queen.

A petite model boat handmade in the fifties,

a chair saved from the rubbish (we do try to be thrifty).

A heavy steel firefront bent into position,

an old shovel renewed for Tools with a Mission

The banging the clanging the sanding the spraying,

the laughing advising and quiet surveying.

A hive of activity brought to conclusion with

table of goodies in abundant profusion.

The sausages,wotsits mince pies and mulled wine

the chocolates and sandwiches how we did dine!

One last thing to say as we switch out the light
