Renovate a Home for Under a Fiver !

Here at the Rotherhithe Shed we have become experts at economical home renovation. We use our skills and a minimal amount of cash to get these "fixer uppers" back on the market and ready for new owners.

Our first property was renovated last year. It was a Tudor half timbered job which needed serious help.

Architect Bernard Beddows led the way as we put a thatched polystyrene roof on it. We improved the half timbering with lolly-sticks as well as bolstering the foundations and getting rid of that "cardboardy" look.

It was put on the market in December and was quickly snapped up!

We soon acquired another property that was in a bad way.

We contracted Bill Wardell and Associates as lead architect, ably assisted by Wallace Khabo, Doug Jenks, Steve Davies and numerous others.

It needed a new slate roof and complete redecoration inside and out.

Windows had to be triple-glazed

in line with modern eco-legislation.

Finally, the garden has been artfully landscaped by renowned garden designer David Bassadone.

The Shed are pleased to have completed another succesful renovation. We are looking for another fixer -upper. Perhaps a crumbling castle or an out-of-date bungalow, a delapidated townhouse or a garage with "lots of potential" Whatever we find, rest assured we will give it the full "Shed" treatment!
